  • Copper is NOT treated. You will need to apply a copper sealer.
  • Patina roof is treated and sealed
  • Purple martin bird experts say that you will need at least 10 ' to 12' tall post above the ground in an open space.
  • If using it for any other birds, then you will need at least a 6' post if you are not using the planter.
  • If using a planter, any size post will work.
