- The paint is not smooth. It is rustic, distressed, and not even by design.
- You will need at least a 6' post if you are not using the planter.

Extremely impressed with the build quality and packaging.
This birdhouse is an additional to a meadow I created for my son who is Stage 4 cancer. He spends his days watching wildlife. I ordered one from another vendor and never came. This one will be a wonderful addition to Michael’s Meadow. It arrived so quickly and can hardly wait for my son to see it and the purple martins to return next year. I really appreciate how quickly you sent this considering my son’s medical condition.
Could have been made a little better quality but over all happy with it. Shipping was ridiculously high
