- Poly lumber is made from 100% recycled plastic, such as used plastic milk jugs, detergent jugs, water jugs, juice bottles, etc.
- All the plastic waste created from making our bird feeders and birdhouses are baled and sent back to the recycling center.
- Using poly lumber saves the trees
- Prevents tons of used plastic materials from going into landfills
- Comes in a variety of colors
- Durable in harsh weather
- Easy to maintain
- Since poly lumber is all plastic, there is no need to apply any sealer or harsh chemicals to maintain it.
- Simply rinse with soap and water to clean.

I had numerous questions about mounting the bird feeder as we had an almost identical one that high wind snapped the 4 inch wood post in half and destroyed. I am mounting this one using 2 inch metal conduit which I hope will fare better in our high wind area. The bird feeder was packed well and arrived in perfect shape. The communication was great and this feeder should require less maintenance than our older one as it is plasticized wood. Very happy with our purchase, looking forward to installing in the Spring.
