- Poplar wood is used for our "solid white" trash bins as the sap from the pinewood does not mix well with the solid white paint over time.

Great item. We'd definitely look at getting another. Love the look, and it's great that it includes not only that fresh wood smell, but also a trash can!
Drawer handle was a little rough / splinter-y, but no longer after rubbing it a little with a cloth, and we have a piece of cardboard under the front left because it's a little wobbly / not quite even. But neither of those two things are really noticed a couple weeks after use.

Beautiful cabinet, makes the trash look amazing! I wish the drawer was a little taller to accommodate large rolls of trash bags, but otherwise a perfect addition to the kitchen.
This tilt out trash can is such great quality! It arrived in a timely manner and was very well packaged for the trip. Nice smooth finish and the parts move well. This is real Amish quality and I'm sure we will have it for a very long time.
