Amish Barn Silo Bird Feeder
Very impressed with the quality and detail of this bird feeder. It was shipped very promptly and packed extremely well. Upon arrival, we opened the large box and lifted the bird feeder out and it was in PERFECT condition. All you need to do is insert the wooden perch posts on the silo, which are taped to the front floor area of the feeder.
In fact my wife likes this so well, she put it in her office for now. I told her I would put it on the post and secure it so we could start using it and she replied "It's too nice for that, I don't want the birds messing it up yet." As soon as the snow flies and she sees the hungry feathered friends, she will have me put it on the post, so the feeding can commence.
Very pleased with the entire process. Promptly shipped, perfectly packed and built with attention to detail. Its perfect.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the material and how poorly the “outdoor” bird feeder was constructed. From a durability standpoint, it’s seams (sides) we’re not flush allowing rain and other elements to enter it’s inside. The description mentioned that feeder was stained. Only parts were stained leaving the pine totally exposed to the weather. There is no way it will last more than 3-6 months. For $300.00, I expected more! I talked with them about by my disappointment and wanting to return it and there was no denial of its quality. They sent a Return label without covering the cost of shipping. When asked, They would not pick up the return shipping. I have WASTED $90.00 in shipping! I’m shocked that Etsy sells this product
Wow, this bird feeder is heavy duty. Larger than what I thought but a nice solid weight. Would definitely recommend.
Looks beautiful in pictures, a little disappointed when the bottom was unfinished and wood not sealed from weather. At $200 plus, they could have polyurethaned and at least painted the underside. Underside is 1st thing u see when looking up at it. Also some wood glue between the house and roof would keep the 2 from separating so easy.
