This is a good quality post. I ordered the casing only. We filled with sand and added concrete at the base to secure. It was packaged well and arrived perfectly. I would recommend the seller.
We have not put this in the ground yet, but it is heavy and i think will support the large bird feeder. I was very happy to be able to buy this at the same time as buying the bird feeder, instead of trying to determine what would work that I could get at Lowes.
